universalday.app publishes the universal day number for every date, worked out digit by digit so you can check it yourself. It is a small independent site, built around one idea: the arithmetic should be visible, and the writing should be worth reading.
What the site does
Every date reduces to a number. Add up the digits of the day, the month and the year, keep reducing until one digit is left, and stop early if you land on 11, 22, 28 or 33. That number is the same for everyone on Earth on that date, which is why it is called the universal day number.
This site shows that number for today, for any date you ask about, and for whole months at a time. Every page shows the calculation rather than just the answer, because a reader who can check the arithmetic has a reason to trust the rest.
How the writing is made
The maths is public domain and always has been. The interpretations are not. Everything written here about what a number means was written for this site. Nothing is lifted or reworded from other numerology sites, and no third-party posts, screenshots or descriptions are reproduced as content.
Numerology is offered here as insight and entertainment. Nothing on this site is medical, legal or financial advice, and no page claims a date will cause any particular outcome. Where a number is described as suiting a certain kind of activity, that is a note about tone, not a prediction.
Dates and timezones
Midnight arrives at different moments around the world, so at any instant two or three different calendar dates are underway. Rather than publish one global date and let most of the world be off by a day, this site works out which date you are actually on and shows you that one.
It does that twice over. Your approximate location, from your connection, gets you to the right day before the page loads. Your device’s own clock then checks that answer, because location guessed from a connection is wrong often enough to matter — a VPN, an office network or a phone roaming abroad will all report somewhere you are not. If the two disagree, a note at the bottom of the page offers you the correct day.
Pages are built against UTC, which is what search engines see and what you get if your location cannot be determined. Any address beginning /day/ names its date outright and means the same thing wherever you open it.

Your data
There are no accounts and no payments here, and the calculators never send what you type to a server. The personal day calculator asks for a birth month and day because the calculation needs them, and deliberately does not ask for a birth year because it does not. The privacy page has the specifics.
